Hello friends! It’s time to meet the girls from GRD Leça – Love Tiles, one of two Portugal representatives at EBT Finals 2019 in Baia Mare. Although with only three years of history, GRD Leça comes with great plans in Romania: “We will be the new champions at the EBT Finals,” said the Portuguese.

Champion of Portugal in 2017 and 2018, GRD Leça – Love Tiles will make the debut at an EBT Finals 2019. Lusitans come to the beach from the mountains with great thoughts, they want to win the trophy at their first participation, as Captain Daniela Mendes says.

The GRS Leça – Love Tiles roster only has ten players and three of them, Rosa Ribeiro, Catarina Oliveira and Filipa Ventura, played last year’s European Champions Cup in Catania, losing 1-2 in front of the hungarian team, Multichem -Szentendrei NKE. The fourth, captain Daniel Mendes was a staff member during that competition.

GRD Leça – Love Tiles also has a male club founded 15 years ago. The boys have won four titles in Portugal, but will not be present at Baia Mare. In the past, the Portuguese participated in three editions of EBT Finals.
